ChromaSorb™ Membrane Adsorber

A single-use, membrane-based anion exchanger offering the greatest levels of impurity binding at the highest salt concentrations for MAb and protein purification

Process Economics and Efficiency

       • Eliminate tank capacity constraints
       • Single use device
       • Small manufacturing footprint
       • Linearly scalable family
       • Minimal feedstock used during scaling studies
       • Easy to use

ChromaSorb is an innovative flow-through membrane adsorber designed for the removal of trace impurities includ-ing host cell protein (HCP), DNA, endotoxins and viruses from monoclonal antibody or other protein feedstocks. Unlike traditional anionic resins and membranes, ChromaSorb membrane adsorber provides robust impurity removal over a wider conductivity range. The ability to consistently and reliably perform at greater salt concentrations significantly reduces buffer volumes typically used at this step as well as eliminating tank capacity constraints. This single-use device significantly reduces validation requirements, capital equipment expendi-tures, and time and labor when compared to traditional column based anion exchange resins.
